If you are ordering red roses from the United States for a girlfriend in Shanghai, the flowers do not need to be physically shipped across the Pacific. The practical model is local preparation in Shanghai followed by local delivery to her home, office, hotel or restaurant.
Red roses are the clearest romantic choice
Red roses communicate romance without much explanation. The exact variety, shade and flower-head size can vary with local stock, so treat product photography as a design reference rather than a promise that every stem will be identical.
Do not overcomplicate wrapping “taboos”
Black, gray, cream and other modern wrapping colors are used in contemporary floral design. A black accent is not automatically unlucky. If your girlfriend prefers minimalist style, a darker wrapper can make red roses stand out.
Shanghai delivery can involve building access
For an apartment compound, provide the district, residential complex, building, unit and phone number. For an office, add the company and department. For a hotel, include the guest name and booking details when available.
A large commercial building in Shanghai may have a delivery desk or restricted access, so the recipient's phone number is often more useful than an overly detailed English address.
Choose the delivery moment realistically
A preferred time window can be noted, but exact-minute delivery should not be assumed. Traffic, building access, preparation time and the recipient's availability can all affect the handoff.

I wish I could bring these to you myself. Until then, I hope these roses make your day a little brighter. Thinking of you from across the ocean.
Frequently asked questions
Will the bouquet be delivered by one dedicated courier?
Delivery methods vary by local florist and city. Do not assume one specific vehicle or courier model unless it has been confirmed for the order.
Can I pay from the United States?
Check the payment methods currently offered at checkout. Fees, exchange rates and supported cards can change and should not be hard-coded into an article.
What if she is at work instead of home?
Update the delivery address before dispatch whenever possible. For an office, provide the company, building and department plus a reachable phone number.
